Serving the Children of the World

Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Martinsville, Virginia. We serve children and youth in the Martinsville City and Henry County area (MHC) of southern Virginia. We're located on the Virginia-North Carolina border about halfway between Roanoke, Virgninia, and Greensboro, North Carolina. Martinsville is a vibrant, active, friendly community with lots of people who love helping people in need.

The club awards two college scholarships to outstanding seniors at Martinsville High School. For more information and an application, click here:

We welcome as members all men and women who are interested in making our community a better place. At our meetings, we enjoy good food and fellowship and hear an interesting speaker who shares something about our community that we might not have known before. We hold meetings jointly with the Bassett Kiwanis Club. The first Thursday meeting is hosted by the Bassett club, and the third Thursday meeting is hosted by the Martinsville club. Click the "Contact Us" link to get more information.

The next Kiwanis Pancake Day is Thursday, October 11, 2018!

Our signature project is the semi-annual Kiwanis Pancake Day in beautiful UPtown Martinsville. Held on the 4th Thursday of April and the 2nd Thursday of October every year, the event benefits our Kiwanis Youth Foundation, from which we award grants to local organizations that benefit children and youth in the Martinsville-Henry County area. Proceeds also fund the Lawson Dyer Key Club Scholarship.

Tickets are $5.00 in advance from any member of the Martinsville Kiwanis Club, $6.00 on the day of the event. Email to connect with someone about buying tickets.
